The OGR hosted the 11th edition of the “European Innovation Capital” and “European Rising Innovative City” awards, competitions supported by the European Innovation Council, under the Horizon Europe programme.

At the opening of the meeting, Mayor Stefano Lo Russo presented Torino's journey as a European Innovation Capital, explaining how he transformed the stock into a lever for rethinking governance, services, and relationships with the ecosystem.  Grenoble Alpes Métropole has received the baton of European Capital of Innovation 2026 from Torino.
