On the occasion of the reopening of the Honorary Consulate of Belgium in Torino, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Italy Emmanuel De Bau and the Honorary Consul of Belgium in Torino Giovanni Vittorio Giunipero di Corteranzo were welcomed at the City Hall by the Deputy Mayor Michela Favaro.

The City of Torino organized the international conference "Rivers and cities: dialogue between Torino, Rome and Zaragoza". The meeting was attended by the Deputy Mayor for Civil Protection, Public green areas and River Banks, Francesco Tresso, the Deputy Mayor for Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle of Rome, Sabrina Alfonsi and Deputy Mayor for the Environment of the City of Zaragoza Tiziana Gaudes for a discussion on policies to enhance the waterways of their respective cities.

The event included an international conference on the themes of the New European Bauhaus, at the heart of the project, during which the Deputy Mayor for Ecological and Digital Transition, Policies for the Environment and Innovation, Chiara Foglietta, offered a perspective on the experiences and vision of Torino in this area.

November 21st, 2024 Partnership agreement Torino - Lviv
A delegation led by the Mayor of the City of Lviv travelled to Torino for the signing ceremony of the Partnership Agreement Torino - Lviv, held at the City Hall in the presence of the Consul General of Ukraine in Milan Andrii Kartysh and the Honorary Consul in Torino Dario Arrigotti, as well as the main city authorities. The three-year pact aims to promote shared values such as democracy, freedom, human rights and social integration by fostering constructive dialogue between the respective communities.
November 19th-December 1st, 2024 Exhibition of drawings in Nagoya - Japan
As part of the educational exchange activities planned by the twinning with the City of Nagoya, drawings made by students of the Leone Sinigaglia Primary School and the Ada Negri Secondary School in Torino were exhibited at the Nagoya City Museum during the 46th edition of the Sister and Friendship City Youth Painting and Calligraphy Art Exhibition.

The City of Torino inaugurated the CoFarm4Cities pilot project at Cascina Falchera, with the aim of promoting new vegetable gardens for the citizens of the district. The European project aims to develop a sustainable model of urban agriculture in peri-urban areas, helping to fight againd urban uncontrolled expansion and strengthen local food systems.
