For the third consecutive year, the City of Torino has been selected for the new phase of the Youth Climate Action Fund promoted by Bloomberg Philantropies. The City will receive USD 50,000 to support youth leadership in addressing climate change.

The City of Torino took part in the Consortium Meeting of the European project CLIMAGEN in Thessaloniki, focused on the challenges of climate change. The plenary meeting of the 26 partners of the SEED2SCALE project, including the City of Torino, took place in Zagreb. Participants discussed the role of National Competence Centres and the current state of social innovation in the EU. The meeting also showcased concrete examples of Croatian good practices in the fields of circular economy, inclusion and culture.

As part of the initiatives related to the twinning between Torino and Nagoya, the Deputy Mayor for Educational and Youth Policies, Carlotta Salerno, welcomed a delegation of students at the City Hall as part of an educational exchange program with the Convitto Nazionale Umberto I High School.
The Mayor of Torino and Vice President of ANCI, Stefano Lo Russo, participeted in a mission in Kenya organized by the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and the Mattei Plan Mission Structure. The initiative highlighted new opportunities for collaboration for Italian municipalities, enhancing their expertise in urban planning, registry services, and digitalization.
The ILO hosted the international event that brought together Afrian AI innovators, Italian and European industry leaders, and institutional representatives to promote new partnerships supporting the sustainable development of digital technologies. With over 200 participants, the initiative falls within the framework of the Mattei Plan for Africa and the collaboration between the Italian Govenment and UNPD.

As part of the TAIEX program, on behalf of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and in collaboration with the Western Regional Development Agency of Romania, the City of Torino welcomed a delegation of technicians to Torino Urban Lab for meetings, study visits and workshops dedicated to sustainable urban regeneration.
