November 3rd, 2025 Mission to Rio de JaneiroMayor Stefano Lo Russo traveled to Rio de Janeiro to attend the 2025 World Summit of Mayors of the global C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40) network, which brings together Mayors from the world's major cities to collaborate and take action against the climate crisis.
The Mayor participated in the panel entitled “Energy transition in practice: decarbonising cities by 2030”, and in the meeting “European Mayors gathered: boosting Europe's role in a changing world”.
