Deputy Mayor for Culture Rosanna Purchia met with Claudia Barattini, Cultural Secretary of the International Italian-Latin American Organization, in Torino for an institutional visit on the occasion of the States General of Culture.
The City of Torino welcomed a technical delegation from the City of Vaughan, led by the Director of the Economic Development Division, interested in learning about local policies for organizing major events, particularly dedicated to food.
Mayor Lo Russo welcomed a Brazilian delegation from Campo Grande to the City Hall. The delegation looked forward to an upcoming visit by the Mayor to the Brazilian city to strengthen institutional relations and promote bilateral exchanges and collaborations.
Vice Mayor Michela Favaro welcomed Carlos Bezerra Junior, Councillor for the City of São Paulo, at the Civic Hall. The meeting paved the way for possible collaborations between Torino and Brazil on the increasingly important issue of housing policies and their social impact.
Deputy Mayor Michela Favaro met with a delegation from South American countries, including entrepreneurs, public administration officials, university professors, and collaborators on United Nations projects, in Italy for a Higher Education program focused on the Civil Economy and labor policies.
Thanks to its collaboration with the AVEIT – Asociación Vocacional de Estudiantes e Ingenieros Tecnológicos Association of Córdoba and its twinning with the Argentine city, the City of Torino welcomed a delegation of engineering students and recent graduates, accompanying them on study visits dedicated to technological innovation and the automotive sector.
A delegation from the Argentine Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AAICI), accompanied by the Consul General of the Argentine Republic in Milan, was welcomed at the City Hall by Mayor Lo Russo. The visit to Torino was an opportunity for institutional meetings aimed at exploring possible academic and commercial collaborations.
