Mayor Stefano Lo Russo received Mona Abuamara, Ambassador of the Palestinian Territories, at City Hall, accompanied by Lama Safadi, First Secretary and Deputy Ambassador. During the meeting, discussions focused on the role of Italian municipalities in encouraging the national government to move towards the official recognition of the State of Palestine by Italy and other European countries.
Mayor Stefano Lo Russo received the Consul General of Qatar in Milan, Ali Al Hashmi, together with Abdulla Al Noaim, Advisor to the Consulate General, at the City Hall. The meeting focused on tourism, investment, industry, and higher education.
Carlotta Salerno, Deputy Mayor for Educational Services, and Rosanna Purchia, Deputy Mayor for Culture, met at the City Hall with Taghreed Alsaraj, Director General of Education and Talent Development at the Saudi Museums Commission, to explore collaborations in the training of museum and cultural services managers.
