A delegation led by the Mayor of the City of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, visited Torino for the signing ceremony of the Torino–Kharkiv Cooperation Pact, held at the City Hall in the presence of the Consul General of Ukraine in Milan, Volodymyr Vorona, as well as the city's main authorities.
Mayor Stefano Lo Russo took part in the event, chaired by the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative, Dr. Najat Maalla Mjid, and attended by 80–100 participants from 51 countries, including ministerial representatives, senior policymakers and international partners. Coordinated by the United Nations, the Global Alliance promotes concrete and collaborative actions to prevent and combat violence against children.
The third meeting of the Italy–France Cross-Border Cooperation Committee was held in Aosta. The meeting, co-chaired by Italian Minister Antonio Tajani and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, was attended on behalf of the City of Torino by Deputy Mayor Michela Favaro.
Online seminars on "Local food policies and territorial food systems: tools, practices and perspectives", promoted by the City of Torino and the University of Torino, has begun. The sessions involved Torino and Bethlehem, Jericho, and Beit Jala, within the Akli Baladi project - Local food policies for Italian and Palestinian cities.
